These customer-facing draft terms set out how the online shop is intended to work. Company details and the chosen dispute-resolution provider must be completed and legally reviewed before sales go live.
Seller and scope
The seller is [FULL LEGAL COMPANY NAME], [LEGAL FORM], registered office at [FULL ADDRESS], registration number [NUMBER], VAT number [SI NUMBER]. These terms apply to consumer and business purchases through Solarco. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail where the law provides greater protection.
How an order is placed
The customer selects products, reviews the cart, enters contact and delivery details, chooses delivery and payment, accepts these terms, and checks the final total before pressing the clearly labelled order button. Entries can be corrected before submission. The ordering language is Slovenian or another language explicitly offered at checkout. An automatic receipt confirms transmission; the sales contract is concluded only when Solarco expressly accepts the order or dispatches it.
Products and compatibility
Descriptions, images and calculator outputs are informative. Specifications, availability, compatibility and any installation requirements are confirmed at order acceptance. Customers must check that connected devices, voltage, phases, protocols, roof systems and existing wiring are suitable. Marketplace sample listings are research examples, are not Solarco stock and cannot be purchased from Solarco.
Prices, VAT and payment
Retail prices are shown in euros and include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery and any other unavoidable charges are shown before ordering. Payment methods and timing are displayed at checkout. Solarco may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order and will offer cancellation if the corrected price is not accepted.
Delivery and risk
Available delivery countries, estimated timing and charges are shown before the order is placed. Timing is an estimate unless a binding date is expressly agreed. Panels, batteries and other large items may require pallet access and safe unloading. Risk passes as required by applicable consumer law; visible transport damage should be recorded promptly without limiting statutory rights.
Withdrawal and returns
Consumers purchasing at a distance generally have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. Instructions, exceptions, return costs and the model withdrawal information are on the Returns and withdrawal page. An exception for goods made to the consumer's specifications applies only where the legal conditions are genuinely met; choosing ordinary catalogue components does not automatically remove withdrawal rights.
Legal guarantee and commercial warranties
Consumers retain the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity, generally for at least two years under EU rules. Any manufacturer or commercial warranty is additional and does not replace statutory rights. Warranty duration and conditions must be stated for the exact product and must not be inferred from marketing copy.
Installation and safety
Electrical, solar, battery and fixed smart-home equipment must be installed and commissioned by appropriately qualified persons in accordance with product instructions and applicable rules. Equipment-only prices do not include design, permits, grid approval or installation unless expressly stated.
Customer accounts
Customers must provide accurate information and protect account credentials. Accounts are personal; there is currently one retail price structure without a separate installer or trade tier. Secure login, password recovery and persistent server-side order history become effective only when the backend account service is launched.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints can be sent to info@example.com or [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Solarco will respond within the period required by law. Before launch, this section must identify the registered Slovenian out-of-court consumer dispute-resolution provider that Solarco recognises, or clearly state the legally permitted position, and give the required provider details. The discontinued EU ODR platform is intentionally not linked.
Law and changes
Slovenian law is intended to apply, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. The version accepted at the time of ordering applies to that order. Material changes will be published with an updated date and will not retroactively reduce existing rights.
